Thimble Tips

This is todays mail arrival. YAY! Let me be a little more specific about what is included in the package.
On the right there is a space to hold two stitching needles. Now I think because it is leather it will take a few fat needle insertions before my needles go in and out easily. Do you see the two dots to the left of the snap? Those are for me to keep my leather ThimblePads when I am not currently wearing them. It will help the adhesive so that I can wear it over and over again with out the adhesive picking up dirt such so that the sticky will stay sticky and they will last longer. Now, I have to say I LOVE, LOVE my leather sticky dots as thimbles they don't slip,or get in the way. I sometimes forget that I am wearing them at all. Kind of embarassing in the check out line of the grocery store. Also it came with...
This is called an UnderThimble no you don't wear it under your thimble. It is just a metal dot that you wear to deflect your needle. Now I have not tried this as I am in love with the leather thimble dots called ThimblePads that are self adhesive. This UnderThimble is attached with Adhesive Replacements which are simple circles of double sided adhesive which also came in this pack
And the ThimblePads came as well in a 12 pack. I got all of that for $16.30 from Colonial Needle Co. But, I love the ThimblePads SOOOOO much that I bought a separate 12 pack of the Leather pads for $6.30 as well. Yay pain less stitching. I was using the Vinyl Pads, but I don't like those as well. They are okay..VERY, VERY sticky, but they don't seem to RE-stick like the leather dots do.
